 Help us book new shadowing sessions with healthcare professionals! Virtual shadowing is the heart of our organization, and we need your help to make sure we are offering engaging shadowing opportunities for our students.

 

How to contact potential hosts for shadowing sessions 

  • Search for healthcare professionals that may be interested in putting on a virtual shadowing session for PHS. This can be doctors, nurses, PAs, veterinarians, pharmacists, dentists, etc.
  • Check this google sheet to ensure the professional has NOT already been contacted: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Mw4gWAokbPCGnQe9i6WTdMfjdZL-gAOtGyU7ZoSRpdE/edit?usp=sharing
  • After finding a new professional, add their information to the Google Sheet
  • Send the professional an email using this email template, filling in their information below. (You must be logged in to access this template
  • 15 submissions = 1 hour

How to find good professionals:
  • Use social media, medical/nursing/dental/etc. school directories or look for professionals in your area 
  • Do an internet search of the professional to see ratings, past cases, etc. to ensure that they are a trustworthy and reliable candidate to host a shadowing session
