About the Speaker
Dr. Katherine Brooks is faculty in the department of Hospital Medicine at UCSF and works clinically at San Francisco General Hospital. She is a clinician educator and holds several leadership positions in the school of medicine including as a Clinical Skills Mentor at the Joint Medical Program between UC Berkeley and UCSF, Assistant Director of the Course on Diagnostic Reasoning and Co-Director of Model SFGH, a site based longitudinal clerkship program at San Francisco General Hospital. Her interests are in diagnostic equity, caring for vulnerable populations and strategies to mitigate clinician bias. She is a San Francisco native and proud to take care of San Francisco’s safety net patient population.
How to participate
The class will become available about 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. During this time, you should ensure that you have the Zoom client installed and working.

How to get your Participation Certificate
After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete.
