About the Speaker

Dr. Holloway is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Program Director for the Global Health Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. He is boarded in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care. Dr. Holloway attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, followed by Doctor of Medicine conferred by the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital for Children and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Holloway has a keen interest in global health, cardiac critical care, and outcomes in respiratory failure. He has traveled to several countries–including Iraq, Iran, Peru, Nigeria, Tanzania, El Salvador, Haiti, and El Salvador–as teaching and cardiac attending. He has lead several studies in acute critical illness in low-resource settings and is a global leader in capacity building in low-resource settings.

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
