About the Speaker
Dr. Margarita (Rita) German is a faculty member in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Department of Medicine, and Associate Program Director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship. She is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and American Society of Transplantation and is involved in training medical students and residents. Dr. German’s clinical interests focus on general hepatology and transplant hepatology, including caring for patients with advanced liver disease, liver cancer, and providing care to patients before and after liver transplantation.
