About the Speaker

Mansi Roy is an international Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) student from India, currently pursuing her degree at Hofstra University in the USA. Her journey into audiology stemmed from a deep desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives by restoring one of the most fundamental senses—hearing. Passionate about bridging the gap between technology and patient care, she is particularly interested in cochlear implants, vestibular disorders, and intraoperative monitoring in the operating room.

Beyond academics, Mansi is actively involved with the American Academy of Audiology, participating in health conferences and outreach programs to provide audiological services to underserved communities. Her commitment to social service aligns with her mission to expand access to hearing healthcare and improve the quality of life for individuals with hearing and balance disorders.

In addition to clinical practice, Mansi is a digital content creator, using platforms like YouTube and Instagram to raise awareness about audiology, hearing health, and student life in the field. Through her work, she aims to educate and inspire both aspiring audiologists and the general public about the importance of hearing healthcare.

Mansi looks forward to engaging with professionals, researchers, and fellow students to explore innovative approaches in audiology and contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of hearing science.

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
