About the Speaker

Dr. Rouillard was born in Euclid, Ohio and is a graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with honors. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University, where she taught Human Anatomy and performed research in Immunology. She completed her internship and residency at University of Texas, Southwestern, Parkland Memorial Hospital and then her fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California, San Francisco, with an interest in liver transplantation. For the first year after fellowship, Dr. Rouillard taught with the University of California, San Francisco program in Fresno as an attending gastroenterologist. She performed liver transplant outreach for the San Francisco campus. In 1999, she joined Kaiser Permanente and has held various leadership roles: Chief of Gastroenterology, Northern California Chair of the Chiefs of Gastroenterology, and Assistant Physician in Chief for Medical Specialties, Access, Service and Health Promotion. She served as the Physician in Chief of Kaiser Permanente, Fresno facility. During this time, she sat on several community boards: The Fresno Business Council, California State University, Fresno, Health and Human Services Division Dean’s Council, and the Fresno Workforce Investment Board. Dr. Rouillard is now the Associate Executive Director for Surgical Services and over thirty related specialties, Outpatient Care Availability, Operating Room Access, Robotics, Clinical and Surgical Technology, Capital Strategy, Financial Redesign, Delivery Science and Applied Research, California Government Relations, National Products Council, Business Optimization and Redesign, Ventures, Occupational Medicine, and EHS. She is married to a Pediatric Cardiologist, and they have two sons, both pursuing careers in medicine. She enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, cooking, and reading.

The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete.
