About the Speaker
Sheldon Benjamin, MD is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurology at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he was Director of Neuropsychiatry for 39 years, residency director for 30 years, and chair of psychiatry for 4 years. A career neuropsychiatry educator, he is board certified in psychiatry, neurology and behavioral neurology/neuropsychiatry; is a past president of the American Neuropsychiatric Association and the American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training. He is a Director of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and Secretary of the International Neuropsychiatric Association.
