About Pre-Health Shadowing
Pre-Health Shadowing (PHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit redefining how students explore healthcare careers. We connect learners from around the world with free, virtual shadowing sessions and mentorship opportunities—removing barriers like geography, finances, and limited professional networks.

Role Snapshot
- Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals.
- Manage submission calendars and reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate and mentor volunteer grant writers.
- Maintain grant tracking systems and documentation.
- Work with leadership to gather program information and budgets.
- Utilize Givebutter and internal tools to support fundraising initiatives.
What You Bring
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with grant research and proposal development.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising is preferred.
- Familiarity with Givebutter is a plus.
