About Pre-Health Shadowing
Pre-Health Shadowing (PHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit redefining how students explore healthcare careers. We connect learners from around the world with free, virtual shadowing sessions and mentorship opportunities—removing barriers like geography, finances, and limited professional networks.

Role Snapshot
- Leads the strategy, systems, and infrastructure behind the PHS website and internal tools
- Builds and maintains a clear, forward‑looking technical roadmap
- Ensures platforms are scalable, organized, and continuously improving
- Develops systems that enable the team to execute efficiently
- Oversees the structure, reliability, and long‑term sustainability of PHS’s digital ecosystem
What You Bring
- Experience managing websites, systems, or technical operations (WordPress preferred)
- Strong systems thinking — ability to see how tools, workflows, and teams connect
- Proficiency or strong interest in AI tools (LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently
- Experience leading or mentoring others in a technical or operational capacity
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Reliability, responsiveness, and ownership over projects
