About Pre-Health Shadowing
Pre-Health Shadowing (PHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit redefining how students explore healthcare careers. We connect learners from around the world with free, virtual shadowing sessions and mentorship opportunities—removing barriers like geography, finances, and limited professional networks.

Role Snapshot
- Help run weekly Fundraising department meetings
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with PHS goals and growth targets
- Identify new revenue opportunities including grants, sponsorships, campaigns, and institutional partnerships
- Set quarterly fundraising priorities, metrics, and outcomes
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor fundraising team members
- Establish clear workflows, timelines, and expectations for fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Outreach, Finance, and Leadership to align messaging and impact storytelling
What You Bring
- A strong interest in nonprofit growth, fundraising, partnerships, or mission-driven work
- Strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas into clear plans and action steps
- Confidence leading a remote team and keeping projects organized and moving forward
- Strong written communication skills, especially for grants, outreach, or donor messaging
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, outreach, and leadership teams
- Initiative, you don’t wait to be told what to do; you help build structure where it doesn’t exist yet
- Ability to balance big-picture vision with detail-oriented execution
- Passion for expanding equitable access to healthcare education and supporting student communities
