American Academy of PAs
The American Academy of PAs (AAPA) offers current volunteer and leadership opportunities through membership. The volunteer structure is task-oriented, outcome focused, and allows volunteers to play an integral role in addressing various issues affecting healthcare. Most of the opportunities are for PA students and current PAs, but, “ Volunteer with Reach Out and Read” is available to anyone. In addition to volunteer opportunities, their site includes information about what a PA is and the path to becoming a PA.
