Are you wanting to pursue a career in medicine, or plan on receiving a medical degree? Then the Princeton Review MCAT strategy lesson and medical school application session are exactly what you need to succeed for the next major steps that are to come for your future. The Princeton Review is hosting two free meetings over zoom, that were created to support any individual who wants to further their college degree and expand their career options. The tools taught by the Princeton review are incredibly helpful because students have to score well to be evaluated by several different medical schools.

What is the MCAT?

The MCAT is an exam taken by students who have completed up to their third year of college, because by this time all of the academic prerequisites have been completed. The test covers material across all different subjects, such as physics, chemistry, and biology. Overall, the MCAT is scored out of 528 points, and the majority of students need to score at least a 509 to have a greater chance of being accepted into the medical school they are most interested in [1]. However, each school will have different elements they are looking for in future students, so it is best to research the average MCAT scores of a medical school you want to attend.

How Do I Prepare/Sign Up?

As I mentioned above, details about the MCAT exam and details on medical school applications are being hosted by the Princeton Review, which is an organization that helps students who want to score as best as possible and get into the schools of their choice.

The first session by the Princeton Review is being hosted on July 21st, 2021 from 5-6PM PST. The link to register for the zoom meeting is:

The second session by the Princeton Review focuses on personal statements and letters of recommendation. This meeting is being hosted on July 28th, 2021 from 5-6PM PST. The link to register for the zoom meeting is:

If you are even further interested in talking one- on- one to a grad outreach specialist, Karen Herndon from the Princeton Review is hosting free 30 minute consultations. The link to the calendly schedule: https://calendly.com/karenherndon/partnership-collaboration-meeting?month=2021-07.

The best part about all of these resources is they are free of charge, so who wouldn’t want to take advantage of the opportunity. I can say that your future self will not regret if you decide to participate and for many students, it does not hurt to start taking the time to study. Through the Princeton Review, led by hardworking teachers, many students can understand how to navigate the test and fill out the best-looking applications, both of which will increase the chances of getting into a medical school program.
