This workshop will cover core testing strategies and a comprehensive look into which test you should prioritize.
SAT Course Content
- Digital SAT Format: Adapts to the computer-based modular structure of the modern SAT.
- Reading & Writing: Teaches active reading, command of evidence, rhetorical synthesis, and standard English conventions (grammar and punctuation).
- Math: Focuses heavily on algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, and a small amount of advanced math/geometry.
- Core Strategies: Employs plug-in methods and systematic ways to handle student-produced response questions.
ACT Course Content
- ACT Format: Prepares students for the paper-or-online traditional four-section exam.
- English & Reading: Reviews grammar, sentence structure, rhetorical skills, and fast-paced passage comprehension.
- Math: Covers a broader and deeper range of geometry, trigonometry, functions, and elementary algebra than the SAT.
- Science: Teaches specific data interpretation, graph reading, and scientific reasoning strategies unique to the ACT.

How to participate
