About the Speaker

Giae Dérissé, PharmD is a clinical pharmacist who recently completed her pharmacy practice residency. Throughout school and in her training she pursued diverse experiences such as teaching, getting involved in her local government, pursuing projects in public health and policy which strengthened her interests in education, clinical pharmacy, public health, and health policy to help reduce health disparities, increase patient access to health care, and move the profession of pharmacy forward. She’s documented her journey on Instagram @GDPharmD and GDPharmD.com where she offers advice and brings you along with her. Outside of pharmacy, you’ll catch Giae exploring new places, eating new foods, exercising and sharing things she enjoys!

How to participate

The class will become available about 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. During this time, you should ensure that you have the Zoom client installed and working.

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
