About the Speaker
Arkady Komsoukaniants, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, Dr. Komsoukaniants is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay.
As an assistant professor of medicine, Dr. Komsoukaniants is involved in training medical students and residents in hospital medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine through lectures, interactive teaching sessions, and direct patient care.
Dr. Komsoukaniants completed his internal medicine residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.
Outside of work, he enjoys literature, origami, various other crafts, hiking, and fitness.
How to participate
The class will become available about 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. During this time, you should ensure that you have the Zoom client installed and working.

How to get your Participation Certificate
After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz.
