About the Speaker
Dr. Lorenzo Casertano earned his BA in neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University in 2009, his DPT from Columbia in 2012, and His EdD in Movement Science from Teachers College in 2024. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Tufts DPT Phoenix program. Lorenzo is board certified in Neurologic Physical Therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. Prior to joining DPT-Phoenix, Lorenzo served as the advanced clinician on the acute care neurology service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC, working primarily on the acute neurology floor and neurologic ICU as a clinician and mentor for other clinicians. In addition to his duties as faculty, he works part-time in an outpatient clinic specialized in neurologic rehabilitation. He has been a clinician for over 13 years and has been an adjunct instructor in Columbia University’s DPT program for many years.
