About the Speaker
Robert N. Agnello, DO, MHPE, FACOFP, FAAFP, serves as Chair of Family Medicine and Assistant Professor at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM), with expertise in integrative pain management. He is board-certified in family and pain medicine, holds certifications in medical acupuncture, and teaches battlefield acupuncture. With over two decades of clinical and academic experience, including service at Womack Army Medical Center, Dr. Agnello leads initiatives in chronic pain education and research. He currently serves as Academic Member on the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians Board, Chair of COMLEX Level 1 for the NBOME, and Chair of the ACOFP CME Advisory Committee. A past President of NCS-ACOFP (2012–2013, 2022–2023) and Fellow of both AAFP and ACOFP, he has earned multiple military commendations and teaching awards. Dr. Agnello is an active speaker on pain management, a dedicated mentor, and a cantor at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC.
