About the Speaker

Dr. Ellison is an Assistant Professor/Associate Director of Clinical Training, Practicum Coordinator at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science (RFUMS) in the Department of Psychology embedded within the clinical psychology doctoral program. She holds appointments both in Research and in the Mental Health Service Line at Edward Hines Jr., Veterans Affairs Hospital, as well as at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Dr. Ellison is a clinical neuropsychologist and researcher, with expertise in applied neuropsychological research exploring the intersection between systemic inequities, social determinants of health, and cognitive functioning.

Dr. Ellison’s research and publications also covers issues related to professional issues in neuropsychology, culturally responsive adaptations of cognitive rehabilitation protocols, and women as participants in neuropsychological research. Dr. Ellison is the Past Chair of the Women in Neuropsychology (WIN) Committee of the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (SCN; APA Division 40), as well as current APA Council Representative for Division 40. She was elected as a member at large for the Association for Doctoral Education in Clinical Neuropsychology (ADECN). Dr. Ellison is active in private practice conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations as well as cognitive rehabilitation.

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete.
