About the Speaker

Dr. Gregory L. Taylor II, MD, MBA is a physician with Keck Medicine of USC specializing in geriatric and internal medicine. He treats patients at Keck Hospital of USC, USC Norris Cancer Hospital, and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and serves as the Founding Medical Director of Keck Signature Care, USC Concierge Medicine, where he delivers highly personalized, prevention-focused care.

Raised in Los Angeles’ Leimert Park, Dr. Taylor’s perspective has been shaped by both strong community roots and extensive global experience. He spent time living in Boston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Shanghai, Spain, and Germany, experiences that broadened his worldview and inspired his interest in languages, including Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

Initially drawn to careers in space science or politics, Dr. Taylor ultimately chose medicine as a way to combine science, leadership, and service. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at USC, and pursued a Geriatric Medicine and Leadership Fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He later earned an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Dr. Taylor is passionate about disease prevention and healthy aging, emphasizing sustainable physical activity, nutrition, and lifestyle change to reduce chronic disease and medication burden. Known for never rushing his patients, he prioritizes collaboration, listening, and goal-setting to help individuals navigate aging with confidence.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Taylor is a Chief Medical Officer, entrepreneur, clinical scientist, professor, medical and laboratory director, and team physician for USC Athletics. With over 20 years of leadership across healthcare, education, and business, he remains committed to advancing innovative, data-driven, and personalized approaches to care that help patients live longer, healthier lives.

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
