About the Speaker

Hina Mazharuddin, PA-C is the Vice President for PAs in Virtual Medicine and Telemedicine. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 2009. She has worked in multiple areas of medicine that include Family Practice, Retail Health, Occupational Medicine/ Outpatient Orthopedics, Pain Management, Aesthetic Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and now Telemedicine. She served on the senior management team for a retail health-telemedicine clinic and with that experience was able to implement telemedicine visits in her current Obesity Medicine practice. Hina served on the first executive board for PAVMT and continues to lead our Education pillar. She teaches PA students about telemedicine, serves as a guest lecturer to various PA programs, state organizations, and sister affiliations. She works behind the scenes with PA programs in creating a telemedicine curriculum that can be integrated into PA education.

How to participate

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
