About the Speaker
Dr. Prudencio is a clinical pharmacist working in Hawaii at a family medicine clinic. He graduated with his PharmD degree from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and completed a post-graduate residency in ambulatory care at UC Davis Medical Center. He is dual board certified as an ambulatory care pharmacy specialist and in advanced diabetes management. He educates pharmacy students and family medicine resident physicians on pharmacotherapy relating to chronic disease topics. He leverages a progressive collaborative practice agreement to provide a comprehensive medication management service at his clinic, where he works with patients to optimize their medication regimens in order to improve health outcomes.
