About the Speaker
Dr. Elise Barney is a graduate of Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University. She is currently a locum tenens nephrologist working in the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic. Her prior work experiences in eating disorders, hospitalist medicine and global health have provided her a diverse background. She is also an educator and block director at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Her approach to Medicine is to view each patient as a whole and treat the person, not the disease. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher. Dr. Barney is passionate about human rights, health equity and environmental health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, fitness and interior design. She speaks French, Spanish and Italian.

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete.
