About the Speaker
Lorraine Arriola Shields has been in Nursing for 40 years. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees at the UCLA School of Nursing and her Doctoral degree at Vanderbilt University. Her primary area of focus is Neonatal nursing. She is a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has served as faculty at California State University San Jose School of Nursing and at California State University Monterey Bay. She is currently an Associate Professor of Nursing at California Baptist University and Director of the Doctor of Nursing Program.
