About the Speaker
Alex Schüpper is a second year neurosurgery resident at Mount Sinai in NYC. He grew up outside Philadelphia, and went to Johns Hopkins for his undergraduate education, where he studied neuroscience and played collegiate baseball. He moved across the country to California to receive his M.D. at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he worked in the prestigious lab of Dr. Bob Carter, conducting malignant glioma resesrch. Now back on the east coast, Dr. Schüpper enjoys being close to family and friends when he isn’t practicing neurosurgery. In his spare time, he is an avid CrossFit athlete, enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling and cooking. He aspires to become an academic neurosurgeon, and has research and clinical interests in complex spine, malignant brain tumor and pediatrics.
How to participate
The class will become available about 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. During this time, you should ensure that you have the Zoom client installed and working.

How to get your Participation Certificate
After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete.
