About the Speaker
Jacque’s passion for the many facets of Physical Therapy only continue to grow over time. Her constantly evolving practice is well established in lower extremity issues and the treatment of jaw dysfunction, while continuing to expand into the upper extremity and health and wellness towards preventative mindset. She is an educator at heart and is energized by empowering patients to understand and problem solve barriers to their movement so they can focus their efforts on what really energizes them. She aims to accomplish this with a combination of hands on care and intentional, mindful movement.
Jacque splits her time between patient care and education. As an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, she joins a talented faculty in the shaping of the professionals of the future. She values the ways in which clinical care, research, and education work together to elevate and direct all that Physical therapy has to offer for the betterment of all of our moving lives.
Jacque earned her undergraduate degree from Luther College, studying Biology and Athletic training. She then went on to the University of Iowa, where she earned her doctorate in physical therapy. After practicing for a few years as a generalist, Jacque went on to complete an Orthopaedic Residency with Ohio State Sports Medicine in Columbus, OH and earn board certification.
Jacque embraces all four seasons with outdoor enjoyment of hiking, camping, running or XC skiing. One of her favorite places to be is beside a fire with a seasonably appropriate beverage and good company, be it family and friends, a book, or music.
