About the Speaker
Dr. Deepti Mundkur completed medical schooling in India at Manipal University. Then, she moved to the United States and completed a Masters in Clinical Research from University of California San Diego. She later pursued Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of California San Francisco, Fresno. During residency she pursued primary care psychiatry fellowship since mental health issues were very prevalent while caring for outpatients. She has adopted a new and upcoming model of delivering medical care called ‘Direct Primary Care’ which is a membership based practice, where insurance companies cannot interfere with patient care and she is about to text her patients and provide same day appointments.
