About the Speaker
Malone Otwell, MSPO, CPO, is a licensed and certified Prosthetist Orthotist. She received her B.S. in Psychology in 2013 from the University of Georgia. She then earned an M.S. in prosthetics and orthotics from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016. She has a published research article in Neurorehabilitation: “Implicit development of gaze strategies support motor improvements during action encoding training of prosthesis use”. Malone’s clinical interests include socket design and working with prosthetic nonprofit organizations. She volunteers in mission work for Prosthetic Promises in His Name as a prosthetist in Zambia, Africa.
