About the Speaker
Alissa M. Coyne, OD, FAAO, FASOS graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in biobehavioral health. She earned her doctor of optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and completed an ocular disease/primary care residency at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Coyne is currently obtaining a master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University. She is an assistant professor teaching in the didactic and clinical programs at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Coyne has special interest in ocular disease, emergency eye care, and ocular pharmacology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the American Society of Optometric Surgeons. Dr. Coyne has lectured nationally and internationally on ocular disease.
