About the Speaker
Jonathan Baker (he/him/his) is a PA and Operations Director of Clinical Research at Laser Surgery Care in New York City specializing in anal pathology with a focus on HPV and other STIs and conducts NIH-funded clinical research. He is the President Elect of the New York State Society of PAs and the AAPA Liaison to GLMA. He is a past president of the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, & Transgender PA Caucus and founded the LBGT PA Caucus Speakers Bureau which promotes education on sexual and gender minorities throughout the US.
Jonathan is a frequent speaker at national, specialty, and state CME events including AAPA. He regularly publishes in various peer-reviewed medical journals including JAAPA and received the AAPA Paragon Award in Clinical Publishing in 2015.
Jonathan believes that as healthcare professionals, we are obligated to use our privilege and credibility to improve healthcare for all patients.
