About the Speaker
Dr. Myra Tabet wanted to become a veterinarian ever since she was 8 years old. She studied veterinary sciences in AUB and graduated with high distinction.
She then pursued her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in Szent Istvan University in Budapest and graduated in 2015.
She finished her PhD at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik.
In November 2018, she was ready to open her own clinic and founded Dr. Paw.

For clarification purposes: you cannot become infected with Leishmaniosis from your dog but you can get infected with Leishmaniosis in general (from the sand flies)
