About the Speaker

Heather has been a Certified Child Life Specialist since 2009. She had worked at Denver Health and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Heather has also started a special needs ministry, partnered with the non-profit Night Lights to provide free respite care for families with children with special needs, and worked in Early Intervention. Heather has a passion for working with children with different abilities, and for advocating in the community and healthcare settings. This year, Heather became an Interpersonal Whole Brain Model of Care Certified Provider.

How to participate

The class will become available about 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. During this time, you should ensure that you have the Zoom client installed and working.

How to get your Participation Certificate

After the presentation, return to this course to take the post-lecture quiz. The quiz will consist of information that was presented during the session and should not be difficult if you watched the presentation. Once you finish and pass the quiz, mark the course as complete. Your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file upon completion.
