We are currently prioritizing the recruitment of Department Heads, Upper Management, and roles in Marketing, Finance, and HR. Ideal candidates for these roles have 1-2 years of leadership, management, or administrative experience and weekly availability of at least 8 hours. Department of Human Resources

The Head of Human Resources ensures smooth operation of projects and processes within the Department of HR under their supervision. They maintain close contact with all Leads and assigned Lead Manager(s), addressing department-specific issues as needed. The Department Heads enforce deadlines with their leads to ensure timely completion of department-wide activities, avoiding any disruptions to PHS operations.
 
The Lead of Recruitment vets potential applicants for the PHS Leadership Team. They collaborate with relevant individuals to select candidates for interviews based on the quality of their applications. Depending on the applicant’s information, the Lead directs them to interview with a suitable current Team Member to assess their suitability. The Lead of Recruitment maintains a record of chosen applicants, interview notes, and their progress in the application process. They regularly report progress to the Department Head and work closely with the Lead of Onboarding.
 
The Assistant to the Lead of Recruitment assists in organizing application notes and preparing reports for the Department Head.
 
The Lead of Compliance ensures adherence to established standards in PHS’s relationships and processes with other entities. They identify and address any transgressions that may arise using appropriate means. The Lead maintains regular contact or check-ins with other departments to ensure compliance. They keep a well-organized record of identified issues, actions taken, and outcomes. The Lead of Compliance reports progress to the Department Head and communicates with relevant individuals to address situations. Depending on the severity, they may escalate issues to higher management levels.
 
The Assistant to the Lead of Compliance assists in organizing notes and records of transgressions and actions, as well as preparing reports for the Department Head.
 
The Lead of Onboarding guides accepted PHS Team Member applicants through the onboarding process. They track candidates’ training progress and provide assistance with any issues that may arise. The Lead of Onboarding collaborates closely with the Lead of Recruitment to optimize recruitment and onboarding for vacant roles. They report progress to the Department Head.
 
The Assistant to the Lead of Onboarding assists in tracking candidates’ progress during onboarding and prepares reports for the Department Head.
 
The Lead of Professional Relations recruits healthcare professionals for participation in PHS programs, such as virtual shadowing sessions. They conduct mass outreach and guide professionals through the booking process, ensuring smooth operations. The Lead organizes volunteer teams to collect professionals’ contact information, perform outreach using templates, finalize bookings, and serve as the main point of contact for participating professionals. They maintain diligent records of contacted and responsive professionals and collaborate with the Lead of Shadowing Live Sessions. The Lead of Professional Relations reports progress to the Department Head.
 
The Assistant to the Lead of Professional Relations assists in managing volunteer teams, tracking contracted professionals, and preparing reports for the Department Head.
 
The Lead of Academic Partnerships performs outreach and serves as the point of contact for outside academic institutions (schools, MCAT prep companies, etc.) to explore potential collaborations and partnerships with PHS. Responsibilities include seeking endorsement of PHS virtual shadowing hours from academic institutions (e.g., through school counselors) and pursuing partnerships with academic prep services. The Lead proposes and executes new projects to enhance PHS’s exposure and reputation in the academic world, benefiting pre-health students. They report progress to the Department Head.
 
The Assistant to the Lead of Academic Partnerships assists in tracking ongoing projects and ideas, as well as preparing reports for the Department Head.
 
The Lead of Student Outreach conducts mass outreach to students who may have an interest in PHS programs and services. They propose and execute projects to expand PHS’s exposure and reputation within the pre-health student community. The Lead reports progress to the Department Head.
